am almost tempted to say the fuse that is required is the one that's blown,almost :-) and test it with a meter,no use just looking at it like a goldfish in a bowl !!!!!

I'm a correct in thinking that when you power up the panel the bells ring and your user code won't silence it or do anything ?.
On power up try entering 1234 then press the # key.
It may of reverted back to factory settings :)

They will nag at you for keeping the make and model a secret - and rightly so - they're not mind readers the guys on here who know about alarm systems.
Fuses are easily tested - some glass fuses let you see if the fuse is intact - equipment fuses often have the rating stamped on the end cap.
