scantronic 9452?

Internal alarm keeps sounding. was working fine until last week, however now keeps sounding. I have replaced the battery but it keeps going off and the panel shows tamper zone2 and the tamper, service, fault lights are flashing. the users manual and installation guide just say call an engineer. Surely there must be a way to reset the system?

like I said e manno,scanny panels are a lot smarter than the users,its telling him whats wrong .,but he dithering around like a blind sow at a weenie roast !!!!!

Trace and correct the tamper on the system,then use the engineering code to reset the panel.

It's likely to be set up for engineers not user reset,the flashing service led is a good indication that the panel needs this.

It's a great robust little scanny you have there :)

Either read and understand the manual or call in a pro because it's well worth the cost of a visit.
