ford focus clutch?

i have recently brought a 04 reg 1.8 ghia petrol focus now and again the clutch pedal stay down when changing gear.(ie when pulling away etc) it is a bit scary when at junctions any help will be helpful

would check your brake fluid reservoir and top up if required and giving your clutch system a bleed may also help with your problem
