Why is there a delay action in the Bleep of Flush Door Contact on my home?

Have an "intelliSense -Securit 800L Alarm fitted to our house. Recently we noted that when entering through the front door (fitted with Flush door contact), the Zone light on the "panel" does NOT come up and the "BLEEP"sound has a "delayed action."

What could be wrong?

Do you need to know what type of spoon?.

Gts ain't taking the Micky here.He wants you to tap it lightly to free a sticky reed.

You could always pay a pro as gts has said if you don't understand the concept.
