The washer overfills without stopping?

Oko Fovorit 40300 overfills on the washing cycle which leads to the overflow spilling into the bottom tray and triggering the draining of the water. I opened the side panel and routed the overflow pipe into a container to avoid the drain spill trigger. By switching the selector to off and on (any wash cycle) while collecting the overflow into a container the water inlet is eventually closed and the washer continues and completes the wash cycle without any further spills. It seems as if the trigger to shut off the water inlet is not functioning properly. If left without intervention the compartment overflows out the door of the unit.

Spot on. Ran all cycles without a hitch. Thanks

Your problem is due to the fill level switch malfunctioning. I had this problem and it was due to this switch being blocked and was simple to fix. You need to remove the right hand side panel(looking from the front).
There are You Tube tutorials on how to do this, but I can post details if you can't find anything.
Once the side panel is removed you must look for the circular orange switch near the front of the machine.
Then remove the black tube by compressing the clamp with pliers.
Blow hard into the tube until air passes freely through it. Mine did a kind of "pop" and then was free.
Then you can do a test run to see if all's well.
If so, put everything back together and be happy you've saved a repair bill!
