How can i fix my GT 524 black and decker hedge trimmer ?

The cutting motion of my GT 524 black and decker hedge trimmer BLADES have begun to run very slowly (20% run speed approx) and then stop. Do you Know how to fix this?

This happened to my hedge cutting machine - it was gummed up with congealed sap from the stuff I'd cut over the years.

The solution is to dismantle the blade assembly and to scrub the crud off.

Well - it worked for me...
