Veritas 8c reset?

I have a veritas 8c alarm in my house that I rent out. The code has always been 4321. I got the house back last week and set the alarm. When I came back the next day 4321 would not work and alarm went off. I have disconnected the mains power and battery in the main box and all is quiet now. Ex tenant says she never used the alarm and has not changed the code. Can anyone help please?

Oh come on..

Ain't anyone going to say "you are wrong e manno"?.

Power it back up with a new battery, close lid, turn mains
back on, then see how it goes.

Use 4321 for user or 1234 for engineers (programming).

Fully test the system full/part sets etc.

Remember to change both codes from the factory default codes.

That's the engineering code, 1234 is the user default code.

For security reasons I'd suggest changing both default codes too.
