Zafira engine managment light ?

Zafira 54 DTI when I start it up the engine management light comes on I can drive off turn the ignition off when driving turn it back on and it clears until I come to a stand and it then comes back on any advise

Got a code reader but no code is being logged how ever I can clear the light with it but it comes back on again after about 2-3 seconds this only happens when on tick over rev the engine above tick over and the light stays off

may be something relating to your egr valve but a code reader would be the way to go
