Creda excel dryer about 14years old. Always used the Eco timer as it stops the drier at the right time. With the minute timer you are always guessing that a certain time period will dry. Eco timer won't turn off now so now have to use the minute timer. Any ideas on what's wrong, can I buy a spare and do it myself. Thanks

could be the bronze brush that rubs against the sensor has worn it,thats the thing that monitors the moisture in the drum so tell the timer to switch off when the clothes are dry,its not a hard job to replace it,but make sure you turn the power off (remove plug from wall socket )
