how to open astra twin boot when it wont open with remote

Hi Rich,
Unfortunatly the seats dont drop in the astra twintops, theres only a small cushion between the seats which you can remove but it only creates a gap big enough to get your arm through.
Thank you for your reply though.
Any other ideas?

Drop the rear seat,climb in and you will see a round cover plug on the inside of the boot lid where the handle is,remove it and there is a square hole, stick a screwdriver in and turn it,boot opens.A household door handle with the square rod is a perfect fit and must have been deigned for the job
