how to by-pass the imobiliser on citroen xsara?

the buttons on my remote key have broken and i cant get my car started i have a citroen xsara 2.0 hdi can i by-pass the immobiliser and how can i do this to get the car started thanks

I had the same problem with my Astra, i couldn't find a solution and to buy a new chipped key was 175.00 so i got my insurance to fix it and paid my excess of 50.00 it was sorted in two days and they gave me a courtesy car.
