How can I fix my Kenwood Major A707A?

Hi I have a Kenwood Major, model A707A
The machine got jammed and the whisk stopped spinning but the motor is still running fine up through the 8 speeds but the whisk is only turning very slow. If I grab it with my hand I can stop the whisk turning. Can anybody help?
