Aquarius extra, pours water out of the soap/softner draw, blocked pipe?

Aquarius extra when filing with water for a wash pours water out of the soap/softner draw half way through filling? is the pipe/filter blocked and how do i fix this?

guessing here, but firstly if the front window is showing the water level is higher than halfway, when flood accurs, then the pressure valve could be blocked,
if the water level is lower than halfway, then perhaps the fiiller pipe is blocked. if it is the latter, (filler pipe) remove soap drawer, and attempt to use you fingers in a rubber glove to clear obstruction from downpipe towards drum. may have soap deposits, common when ribbed down pipe decides to kink and stick together, as is trying to strangle itself. hence backfilling (flooding) try a softish plastic prodding tool not a coat hanger, and try to tap the drum ensuring you are well in. dont let it go, or you will never get it back, and machine will make terrible noises. -use say an end of the hosepipe from the garden, -not with running water, unless you are confident you are not going to flood the area.
i if it is the former, (high water level,) then you need to remove mains plug, and lid, scres at back, and push forward/back to release. look for a round disc part with a 10mm clear plastic pipe going away from it towards the bottom of the drum, this will be high up near the top, front? and hanging on a bracket. this senses a 'push' of trapped air in the pipe caused by the water forcing the air to compress and pop a diapragm to operate a switch. (to turn off water in),there will be a small clip that you will need to ease back with pliers, and gently pop off the pipe, insert a biro outer tube into the tube and blow hard to push all the soap sludge back into the drum. do this with machine emptied! -this was such a common fault on hotpoint/hoover machines, and so easy to do. replace the pipe and ease on the clip, and retry, have a glass of wine, and think how to spend the call out charge you have just saved yourself.
