Are the 1997 thirty millimeter KE100 forks dismantelable?

On the 1997 KE100 forks, can you seperate the slider leg from the fork tube? If so, how?

Hi,

Take the top cap and spring out and drain the oil. Remove the fork seal dust cover and circlip and use a "slide hammer" action to reove the fescolised shaft from the outer.
Hold the lower/outer fork bit and pull the inner in a jerking motion upwards.
You may have to make a hole in the fork seal with a hammer and nail or more correctly, a drill; to release suction that might hold the fork together.

Cheers
