whats wrong with my washing machine?

I have a Bosch Classixx 1000 washing machine, WFL2063GB and the drum doesn't turn?
The belt is ok, the carbon bushes are ok, the program cycle runs to the end but the drum doesn't move? it pumps ok and there's no blockage in the pipes, everything works but still it wont wash (turn).
what can it be???

remove the motor replace the brushes, clean all carbon dust from the motor megger it to ensure no insulation probs the brushes may seem ok but unless you take them out you will not be sure there are various types of brushes make sure you get the right type

the minimum you need to check it is a meter to check for continuity between the motor terminals, if all the leads are intact at the end of the harness and you are sure the brushes are making contact with the armature then you must have a problem with the pcb, if you can hear a click coming from the relay on the pcb when you set it on spin go back and check the brushes

What can it be?

The control electronics not calling for the motor to run.

A component in the motor drive circuit might have failed

The motor might be defective.

No doubt you have tried turning the drum by hand to make sure it can move relatively freely.

I have no particular experience or skills in the repair of washing machines.

A specialist repair might be best for you.
