The price you mention is not expensive but I question why it needs doing. Furthermore I would use a Peugeot specialist to do the work, preferably an independent Peugeot specialist garage familiar with these cars.

Your car has the 1.6 VTi 120PS chain-cam petrol engine. If the car has been serviced properly with frequent and regular oil and filter changes the cam-chain should not require routine replacement.

What makes you think it does?

As long as you change your engine oil every year or 10,000 miles it is unlikely that a camchain would require replacement except at extremely high mileages.

Are you sure your car doesn't have a belt instead of a chain? Which engine does YOUR car have? Belts do need renewing at regular intervals. Get a Peugeot specialist to do the job.

£30 /hr is cheap for a garage nowadays.
