It seems that you didn't give the car a decent road test and check over to make sure that everything worked on the car before parting with your wonga, otherwise you would have found these faults and looked elsewhere for a motor. I take it that it was a private seller you bought it from. You could try taking it back to the seller, if you can find them and asking for your money back, but if you bought as seen, you're up the creek without a paddle. Hope you didn't pay too much for it.
