by not closing the drawer during each transaction?

by not closing the drawer during each sales transaction on the 3800, will the total be inaccurate? for example, items can be pressed on the buttons which will display the amount, add to it the amount of cash the customer gives and you get an amount of change to give the customer...all this being done while the drawer is open. Will this transaction show us as a sale? its a question of possible employee theft! thanks, greg

The cash register will record everything regardless of the drawer. The drawer can stay open by default. Some machines can have a setiing programmed to have the drawer closed before a sale is made but that is usually to stop staff being forgetful
