Gardtec 800 with a battery/fuse failure?

My Gardtec 800 house alarm system has developed a fault over the last 3 months.
External and internal alarms sound and the display shows 'Battery/ fuse fault'.
The battery has now been replaced by the engineer on 3 separate occasions weeks apart but the same alarm has just recurred.
Any ideas?

Or have him back for the forth time.

Seriously gts is right, because what engineer fits three batteries to a duff control panel?.

Sounds like it has a problem with it's charging circuit and not a bad batch of batteries.

Is the battery dropping low and the fuse is remaining intact?.

get an engineer who knows what he is doing
