The tumble dryer goes roung but there it is not getting hot. There is also no water in the container being stored.

sounds like exact problem I sorted last week parts came to approx £24.00 if its same problem! its 2 x thermal fuses attached to heater element via a sprung clip, job took me half hour to strip it and half hour to reassemble.

Hi Julie,

Firstly you need to check to make sure that the belt is intact. I suspect it is but check first. You can do this 2 ways. When turning the drum by hand is it fairly difficult to turn? If so then this will indicate that the belt is ok. The other way is to simply remove the lid and visually check.

If the belt is ok then the problem is likely to be the capacitor. These are reasonably cheap and not to difficult to fit.
