cant start it?

i have a 2001 ford windstar minivan and i was replacing some broken plastic covers around the the blinker s knob and also i clean up some chassis ground connections in the motor area but when i was tightening one of the screws of the ground/chassis connection i heard some relays clicking really fast liken a false contact then when i try to start the van it cracks but it wont run and anti theft light blinks rapidly while cranking, what the hell did i do now? any ideas anyone? i only have 1 key and it was working befor i start doing this

well. thnks for the advice but i have not idea what i did again but i went to the junk yard and get out of another van like mine the relays from outside and inside fuse boxes along with all the fuses diodes also did get the cylinder switch with the key and the code receiver ring that is around the switch and come home i install all of it , then i try to start it and nothing i almost did wanna burn up that van lol....but then i wait and see if give me any codes with the antitheft light and gived me the code 15 that after researching i find out it was telling me that it was the wrong key so i put back my old key and cylinder switch but leave on the reciver ring and the madafuuuuucer WWOOORRRRRRRKK sorry but i did get exited after 3 days of missery so looks like i dammaged the receiver when i was replacing the broken plastics oh almost forget to say everything in the junkyard cost me 10 dlls wow.... sorry dealership missed this guy lol.... thanks uall excellent website for help

did you disturb any wires/connections when in and about the indicators,especially round about the key transponder, if you still have immobiliser problems then it may need put onto Ford IDS to have a look at any faults regarding keys etc.If you are going down this route then advise to get a second key sorted out whilst the computer is connected and may save you some cash.
