ariston a1400wd?

This machine will do a wash cycle but the door wont open after the safety delay. I have had to open it by tilting it 45 degrees and manually reaching inside from the bottom.
Has anyone got any clues as to where the fault lies?

If new door lock does not sort it then you may need a new module - have a look at www.emwelec.co.uk

when it does it again hit the door handle a few times carefullyv and see if it releases.if it does suspect door lock
