hello, have 02 galaxy, key will lock and unlock doors but not on remote, when doors open with key, start engine but dies after a couple of seconds, battery good and used it yesterday, any ideas?

you may have 2 issues here.The remote key needs programming to the central locking to make it work the lock/unlock on the doors but if you are struggling with the car cutting out this is due to the transponder chip inside the key.If you have taken the key apart have you lost the transpoder as they have a habit of falling out.Lets hope not as they are expensive to replace and program via a dealer or keycut place
