why does my shower go hot and cold?

i have just installed a mixer shower and although the pressure is quite good it keeps going from hot to cold every 10 seconds or so.can anyone help?

What type of shower is it, is it an electric shower, gravity fed shower, from a combi boiler. ?? need more info please
