entry timer?

Hi I have a 9651 alarm system and as one opens the front door the alarm immediately goes off. How can you increase the time period from front door opening to the alarm system going off?

Sounds like a "sticky" to me if it worked ok before.

I'm off 'gts, this guy's not convincing, and doesn't seem very forthcoming with info requested.

Sorry nursing a megga hangover so sorry if my first post sounded rude.:(

Your keypad displays first to alarm info.

How's about telling us what it says.

Help us to help you,we can't see it from where we are,and answer gts's question he put to you....."Do you have the engineering code".

Simple question,simple answer.

is there a beam in the hall?have you tried a walk test ??

gts, October 2013
yes it goes into full alarm as soon as u walk in and trip the alarm, theirs no delay for entry!

or could be a jammed door contact and if theres a beam in hall it would trigger as you pass it,what does the keypad say?what zone number is shown ?

gts, October 2013
do you have the engineering code?

gts, October 2013
sounds like the the zone has been set to normal alarm instead of final exit zone ,tell me when you say it goes off,do you mean it goes into full alarm??
