Belt replacement on zanussi tce 7127 w tumble dryer?

I have replaced belt which is exactly the same length as old one however it is loose when fitted how do you tension it

you tension the belt with the idler tensioner wheel which should be attached to a spring which will of sprung across and is now on the wrong side of the belt to tension it
