Hi,
My passenger side switch for the electric windows has stopped working. It only opens the window on rare occasions and to close it at times, I use the alarm remote switch. I was told that the switch for this side could have outdone it's time. Is it really due to a worn switch on the panel or something else? Thanks.

I guess that DIY is useless and best to see an auto-tech. My first guess was that the particular switch had a worn contact similar to cell phones, TV remotes and cordless phones.

I had a problem with my window and found that if I opened the door sometimes the window would shut problem was down to cable breaking up as it goes from car frame to door, repaired cable all OK
