How do I remove the drivers door catch from my ford fiesta p reg mk 4?

My door catch on drivers door of my fiesta no longer catches and I have got a replacement to fit but I cannot work out how to remove the old one from inside the door. I have removed the inner door panel and skin but cannot get the catch block out from inside the door.

I havent removed the glass, don't know how to, but most of all, I can't see how to get the catch casing out, it's inside the metal door?

have you removed door glass channel? and if there is a cover over lock/catch assy [this is usually stuck to door] this will also need to come off.
