the key fob doesnt unlock my 51 plate vauxhall astra. the light on it lights up but it doesnt lock or unlock my car. the central locking works when i lock it manually. any clues to how i can fix this thank you.

insert the key into the ignition, turn to the final stage before the engine turn.

press and hold the door lock button, doors will lock and unlock, turn key back, remove and smile that you just saved yourself a lot of money :)
