Hello, I have this problem with my 2004 1.6 HDi- it first came on - went off - now back on , have been told to run fuel down to red, add redex , run on motorway at 70 .... is this likely to remedy.... the things bugging me now as occassionally the ESP light comes on as well then goes off when I restart engine.... any advice welcome ... need to get the ligh off somehow?
How old is the car battery. Could be on its last legs and causing spurious messages?
