Same here gts.
I've never really gone to component level on panels etc, like you we do the basic meter checks and replaced the transformers if at fault but that's it.

We fit new panel and in some cases upgrade the external sounder also,it's not worth the trouble and TBH safer to fit new, besides our suppliers are good so we get replacements FOC,Honeywell great, cooper brill, tex not so good as can be slow.

I'm only doing this psu because my friends son stupidly opened up the psu looking for a fuse lol, poly fuse in this one and litle did he know the thing has a manufacturers lifetime warranty on it,so he voided that :D.

Expensive psu mate this one so I'm having a go,but normally wouldn't be interested as I've got better things to play with and besides can't really learn something new with psu's.

I've got lots of spare time on my hands these days gts so now I keep myself occupied be learning about things I didn't have the time to learn about when I was working. :) :)

e manno and I don't like to be beaten with an electronic prob so we check, test, check again and if its worth fixing,we do it,alarm guy same as us

gts, November 2013
too true me old son,are you reading this rithesh?do you see what I mean now? and e manno has been in trade prob longer than you have been alive ,at a guess

Domino effect very true gts.

I'm in the middle of repairing a ultra x4 1600 w high end gaming pc psu, typical scenario visible fried low current rizzy which also took out 4 switching transistors, one IC driver and I think two mossfet transistors for the 12 v rail.

Got no less then 12 components on order for this repair.

Not sure if the transistors went to ground and shorted the rail or prob with the overload protection circuit so there's the domino effect for real :) :)

alarm guy I love these units very reliable, easy customer to use easy to prog and they look good too :-)its our stock panel, alomg with the 9448 and the 9448 plus

About 15p.

You did ask for a replay.

GTS you do like a 9651....
Took one over ( 9752 ) time to default and set up for us.
Not long.
Now like the locked engineer code method.

Alarm, November 2013
have you heard of the domino effect?if there is enough overload to fry a rissy then forget the panel mate

gts, November 2013
you wont get it,dump the panel buy a scantronic 9651 manufacturers don't give out schematic diagrammes for their panels,
