How do I find the main fuse box in 1999 Ford Mondeo LX Diesel?

I have read that it's behind the glove compartment, but I cannot locate it - do I need to take the glove compartment out?

try looking next to the battery thats where my fusebox inside engine bay is it has a metal catch on it to keep it closed

its there alright !open the glove box.hold each side and yank out.the box will come out showing the fuse box which drops down.there is a button release to open it. good luckk...my problem is i'm trying to find the fuse box in the engine !!! any ideas ???
