1st thing to check is there plenty of coolant in the system?water pump ok? Do you have circulation in the header tank?Are the heater hoses hot to the touch at the bulkhead,Have had some Vauxhalls where removing the hoses at the bulkhead and get a hose onto the pipes to flush and back flush the heater radiator which becomes blocked,just some things to check.
