start push button on t/dryer will not start machine?

Bosch WTE6920GB01 tumble dryer machine. The start button has become less sensitive and now will not start machine when pushed. Had Dom & General man to visit, he says not worth repair as part would cost £400 !! Expensive, any way of replacing start button or is it a larger part ??

its a part of the control pcb however sometimes its just the plastic button press that fails.did he remove the front panel and parts to check?.press buttons on pcb's can be replaced very cheaply if you can use a soldering iron.I assume it has been written off and they are sorting you with a new one anyway under the terms of a D&G policy???
