I have a Creda Storage Heater and the fuseable link has blown?

I have a faulty Creda 1.68 Kw Storage Heater Model No. 79344 and the fuseable link Part No. 791400330 inside the heater has separated. What is the reason for this? Where do I get a replacement and how much will it cost?

Get a electrician it saves time and they know what they are doing.

if you solder across fuse you will be bypassing safety of the fuse best to replace the fuse

do not put clothing on top of heater to dry as this blows the thermal link inside heater to repair you can use a soldering iron and solder to rejoin the 2 wires by forming a new fuse with the solder once new fuse formed by build up of solder reconnect wires to heater and the heater should work fine until you replace part
