how to fit a universal oil filter to my fiat punto nouva 01 1.2 16v ELX??? im try to installl a oil cooler...but when i used to take off the original oil filter, and try to put on the oil filter it belongs to oil cooler, but its not fiiting, actually just have to cut a lil bit steel ,dont know steel or what???is around the engine...can i know how if i cut of some the engine steel??will it be damage?

be very careful of altering any engine or frame parts by cutting.i dont know what you need to alter but can you not call the cooler manufacturer for advice,maybe an adaptor etc needed.you dont want to weaken or cut into a coolant chamber.am always weary of the word universal.better safe than sorry.
