My Creda condenser dryer makes a sucking and gurgling sound (like a water pump is working) but nothing else happens. Drum doesn't turn - I think it does warm up a bit but didn't want to run it like that. Is it likely to be the motor or belt or what? Was working fine with no funny noises or signs of going wrong.

take the top off and see if the belt is around the drum and in 1 piece
