knocklng sound?

when turning steering wheel right or left get a knocking noise,just had mot done and failed on track rod which was replaced cant find anything lose near wheels and wheels are on ok

Would check a/roll bar links,if you can`t feel play in steering at wheel the strut top bearings may be worth a look also

You say it failed on "track rod" that's an odd one,have you tested the tie rod end,that's a more likely fault,quite common and easy repair.
