how can i fix my car?

battery was dead so tried to jump start, which the car was having none of put new battery in all electrics work but the car won't start. It's a vauxall corsa on a 01 plate 1.2 16v sxi

If it doesn't start using the correct procedure (i.e. not touching the accelerator pedal) it may be flooded. While continuing to operate the starter VERY GRADUALLY AND SLOWLY push the accelerator pedal down. You may find that this will clear the flooded combustion chambers and enable it to fire. Once you get it running keep it going until the engine gets up to normal running temperature.

you will need to be more specific,is the engine turning over? Do you just get a click when trying to start it or nothing at all.
