How can I fix my hotpoint BWM129 1200spin?

Our outlet hose was full of muck when I looked at the end that connects to the unbend of sink, I decided to clean it out with a small brush on a meter long flexible wire, but all I did was to ram the muck down to the filter pump, when I tried to get the machine to pump out the muck it dint have enough force to bust through the blockage.
I had a bright idea, Hmmmmm!! I connected our garden hose to the end of the pipe and blew the rubbish into the washing machine, that cleared it!! But now when I turn the drum by hand there is an awful clicking/grating sound. It did however pump all the water and muck out and spun quietly but when in a wash cycle it is grating and noises. Is there something in the drain pump that I could have blown into the machine??

I was right the engineer found that I had blown a plastic ball, just bigger than a golf ball out of the bottom pump, so when the drum was going round this ball was causing the noise. It was fairly easy to get it our and reinsert it in the pump, so no costly parts but £60 for labour.

very possible.get a torch and stick your head inside the drum.look through the holes and see if you can spot anything. If you do see something remove the bottom hose or element to gain access for removal
