That message indicate that your drive have become, at least partialy, unreadable or the first file to load when booting is missing. It can also indicate a disconnected data or power connector.

Double check that the power connector to the drive is correctly connected.
Do the same with the data connector.
Try to boot normaly.

If that don't work:

Boot from any bootable Linux media.
Enter the trial environment. It don't try to write anything to your drive.
Try to access your drive. If you can access the drive: COPY ALL YOUR FILES to some external drive.
As a safety mesure, uninstall the old drive and install a new one. Get the largest one you can afford.
Bring the old drive with you to be sure that the new one will fit in your computer and have compatible connectors.

Once your files are saved:
Reinstall your operating system. You may switch to Linux or stay with Windows.

It's possible that your drive is no longer useable.
In this case, uninstall the drive from your computer.
Install a NEW drive.
Do a clean install of any operating system you want.
A factory reset will be IMPOISSIBLE.
ALL drivers and applications will need to be reinstalled.
All user settings will need to be recreated.
In this case, your files are prossibly lost.

Connect your original drive in a desktop computer.
Use some file recovery application. Some are free, do a web search to find one.
Using the chosen application, try to recover as many files as you can from the old drive.
SAVE ANY RECOVERED FILE TO ANOTHER DRIVE.
It's likely that the original names and location of the recovered files to be lost. You'll have some detective work to replace everything in the desired location.
