Peoguet. 206 coupe 2010 ?

After the recent wet weather my car windows have stopped opening closing properly. Only if the engine is off & the ignition is on can I get them to close sometimes. Peugeot have looked at it today nov 20th 2013 & said its a roof fault !.. To diagnose it today they charged me £67 inclusive vat . They called to say they needed longer- another hour .. So making it £134.. They didn't call me after 3 hours and I called them who are now saying it needs more time and it's now £250. I gave no permission for this & it's still not fixed !..
Can any one help me with any advice what to do now ..

They are taking the p*ss. What have you signed to authorise them to look at the car? Did you sign anything to authorise the expenditure? My guess is that one of the small micro-switches is not making contact properly.

Join http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk and look through the roof section of the forum.
