How can I fix my Creda Canterbury Cooker grill?

The grill stopped working in my Creda Canterbury cooker. Checked switch-seemed ok. Fitted new element-no good. Any ideas?
Mike H, November 2006
Got it sorted. Do you know what, the element was gone but it was a faulty thermostat that blew it. Hence the new element would not work either. Fitted new thermostat and new element. Alls well.

Hi Mike,

It will cost you around £20 it is located behind the knob that you turn the grill on with. They are fairly straightforward if you no how!

Thanks Lee. It is model No. 48160. Is a regulator expensive or difficult to install?

Mike H, November 2006
If you have replaced the element then it must be the regulator that is at fault. What is the model number?
