Keypad for a Scantronic 9454?

I need help in getting hold of a replacement keypad for a Scantronic 9454 burglar alarm.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I had the same problem. You need to take the front panel off, but disconnect the mains supply to the system. When you remove the panel the alarm will sound so pull one battery connector off to stop it. You can remove the keyboard from the panel but be careful it is fragile. The keyboard can be taken apart and the buttons can be cleaned with contact cleaning pads. Refitting is the reverse. Please be careful as if the system is old, the plastic bits will have become brittle. Good luck.

No luck I'm afraid I've even sent emails to the bank engineers covering us for last night.

Looks like an upgrade to the 9651 as gts has suggested,it's a very good panel and remote keypads look good too.

Sods law mate I've had a look too.

Sorry me neither, but I ask around for you on Wednesday when I go to works Xmas do,lot of oldies there, maybe lucky.

Just confirm it is the remote keypad you need and not the 9454 panel with on board keypad :)

Thank you and is difficult/expensive to find a compatible panel and what panel would be suitable?

Thanks again

Thank you for responding so quickly. I can't believe it. Do you have any idea where I could possibly get one from. Or would it be better to replace the whole alarm system?

The problem I'm having is that the number that I used for the alarm code doesn't work any longer - even with trying to use a screw driver. So I can't reset the alarm.

Thanks

9425 remote keypad.

Unless one comes up on flea bay then it's highly unlikely you will source one unfortunately,i did a job for a chap some months ago fitting replacement rkp,and he was very lucky to get hold of that.

All's I can suggest is changing your pin code to the buttons that haven't worn out,if that is the case and get a few more years out of the old girl.Or if the rkp has had it then see if you can loose it and use the keypad on the panel.

Only other thing is to upgrade the system by fitting newer panel etc.
