Looking at the manuals I'd suggest getting a pro out who can reset the system and set it up entirely for you because other features will have been enabled to suit the previous owner.

The engineer will provide prox fobs etc and show you exactly how it works and issue you with the user manual.

Existing fobs in the hands of others is my main concern here.
