clutch peddle not returning honda accord 2005?

pressed clutch peddle to change gear and peddle did not return

You could try renewing the clutch hydraulic fluid and bleeding the air out of it. This has worked for me in the past.

If that doesn't work then it could be the master cylinder itself, or something else in the clutch mechanism broken. Could be the slave cylinder, but I'd try bleeding the clutch hydraulics first and renew the fluid at the same time. Hydraulic fluid is hygroscopic and ideally needs renewing every 3 years or so - particularly in the braking system.

Oh and "peddle" should be spelt "pedal". Just call me pedantic if you like...
