Hi,
Fuel starvation due to a partially blocked fuel filter can cause this. Also a poor or intermittant spark can cause this. Change the spark plug for a start and check the plug cap for cracks which can cause shorting to the engine. Lastly have a look at any pipes and hoses that supply air and any jubilee clips for security (air leaks).
