hotpoint tdl52?

Hi I had a new belt fitted on my tumble dryer its a hotpoint tdl52 the is to tight round the drum just wondered if we could adjust the tension

they are elasticated.fit it around the drum which is a snug fit then stretch the belt over the motor shaft and job done.don't bend motor shaft levering off it though
