Veritas r8 won't set?

As above won't set just beeps until Code is re-entered.

On setting our above veritas alarm it just beeps,then shows nothing out of the ordinary on the keypad when leaving and re-entering my house.Battery has been re-newed but fault still persists,any suggestions please?.

If it will not set and all you are hearing is the entry/exit tone as per usual then walk test it to check door contacts and PIR's.

If the tone is not the norm then count the beeps between pauses and report back.

What is the Unset light doing?.
