The rinse light flashes after the initial fill and the drum tries to turn but only small pulses occur .after a few pulses,there in an audible beeping coming from the machine .I turn it off at that point.Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

rinse light flashing is a diagnostic display it means there is a fault with the motor or motor control systems, may be just the carbon brushes in the motor worn out . cheers
